For two weeks prior, I kept an eye on weather. COM. Clear skies ahead, except for this Wednesday. It couldn’t look worse for us. I kept watching and fretting over the forecast for this day. I issued a “rain or shine” edict. We were going to go ahead with this regardless. I gritted my teeth. The day finally came, and arms loaded and with permit in hand, Ryan and I went to the park to set up. So far, so good. It was a little windy, sure, and there were clouds, yes. But it hadn’t started raining yet. I was hoping it wouldn’t rain until we were all at least under the pavilion. Then Nancy came with good news. The rain went to Columbus and spun off in a different direction. The day was saved! |

The sun came out at the end of the day. All was well. See...worrying does pay off! |
